High Stall Convertor

I will be putting together a 77 gremlin X using the
powerplant from a 76 Hornet which is too rusty by my
CA standards to save. The Gremmie is a little
sunburned orange (actually sunburst orange) with black
and orange (so 70s) interior that should clean up
nicely.
I pulled the locked up 258 6 out of the car today and
noticed that a placard on the 904 torque convertor
says "high stall". Does anyone know if AMC used a
higher stall convertor in the sporty models such as a
Gremlin X? What would be a typical stall speed for
the convertors? Does anyone have specs? I have a 76
TSM and many sections of the 77 TSM but I don't have
the power train section of it.
