Speaking of Cherokee/Comanche... One problem with the XJ Cherokee is that they just didn't give enough rear seat leg room. Even the Chinese stretched it a couple inches in the back! Well, there's no easy way around that issue now. I wouldn't want to stretch a door -- though it's possible, it's a lot of work! But I have thought about cutting a two door model behind the doors and grafting a four door on after. I'm just not to sure how the extra long front doors will look with the short back doors. Would give about five more inches (just guessing) of leg room though! I'd probably move the front seats back an inch or two as well.
