auto-stick swap

Ben; someone stole my work car (1969 232-auto) and
jumped the curb with it. No damage except for the
lower arms, Xmember, pan and oil pump, bell housing
and his head hit the window. I had all the parts
sitting around including an OD 232 out of a 65 Classic
and a real nice 440 wagon's auto. The 232s stick combo
came out, the wagons auto went in and all the busted
suspension parts swapped out with what I had laying
around. Everything went in like butter and I drove the
car not more than 2 hours ago. 
I do remember having to pull out a pilot bushing on a
similiar swap once, but that was on a Fomoco.....Russ
