Bumpers To Paint Or Not To Paint

I decided to go almost completely monochromatic on the car. Hornet's
don't have very much chrome or stainless trim so painting the bumpers
would make it almost like a 77 AMX without the Targa bar. Also the cost
and labor of making the bumpers perfect for chroming after shaving the
bumper bolts will be more than the budget allows. I am into this 500$
car for around 14,000$ now. I originally budgeted 5,000$ for the project 
My next project for the car will be stripping the paint off the 77 AMX
flairs and painting them the body color. That should take less time than
the door sill restoration.
