Barrett Jackson has been having another record year. 
Restomods and Recreations are going for more and more
money every year.  Carol Shelby sold a 2007 built to
order Shelby Mustang for $600,000.  Chip Foose sold a
brand new 69 Camaro for $250,000.  This was a new
construction not a real 69.  You can now buy
everything to build one from scratch.  Ray Allen raced
LS6 Chevelle, $1,150,000 and a GMC Tour Bus,
$4,000,000, 1970 hemi cuda, $2,000,000.  Some of these
cars they couldn't give away back when they were new. 
In fact some models they even delayed the next years
production because they had so many left over from the
previous year.  


I guess  AMCs are still one of the best values out
there and a great investment.  The price will grow
greatly with the other makers getting such high
numbers for even average cars.  There was a 73 Javelin
360 auto with AMX hood and spoiler that brought
$21,000.  Not bad for a 360 Javelin.
