The orange Hornet is back at my friends shop to have a water leak fixed
on the drivers side, might be the windshield or a clogged door pillar
vent or who knows what. I am to disabled to try to find it myself. The
guy's main business is auto glass so I say let a professional do it. I
trust his work and his prices are reasonable. The yellow car went to the
upholstery shop to have the 2 bucket seats re-upholstered. The drivers
seat is in pretty bad shape in general. When I ordered the seat insert
material for the orange car I ordered double what I was told that was
needed. It was a good thing because the bottom cushion of the rear seat
also needed to be re-done too and there was still enough material to do
the yellow cars buckets too. I think it was Frank S. that put me onto
the material supplier in Oregon I think to get the material. So now I
will almost have the complete interior done in the yellow car too. 500$
for both seats is fine with me. The drivers seat is in really sad shape.
So now I am down to my beat up dented rusty winter beater 77 Malibu to
drive for a while. :-(((
