Thanks a lot Matt!! For looking in the parts book and checking as well as giving a good reasonable explanation to support the info. I have a couple parts books here, but just don't have time to do 100% of the research myself. The list is a great research tool, one reason I took it over rather than watch it falter and die.

I just took a look at my parts book and there are some cases where the same 
drum used on one model for the front is used on the rear of another but 
there's also the fact that both Bendix and Wagner sold brake parts to other 
manufacturers (Ford, Volvo, Studebaker, and International, among others) so 
separate hubs would let them use the same drum for different makes. Also, I 
would think that it would be far easier to do the casting and machine work 
on individual parts than it would be one big assembly.

Rotors, on the other hand, are a different story. Both one and two piece 
assemblies have been common for most of the time they were around with two 
piece being more common now since most vehicles are front wheel drive.
