also 4-way flashers. but 3-point seat belts weren't -required- until
'68 - maybe 1/1/68, like the reinforcements - though many '67s had
them as options, and i'm told -all- '67 mustangs had the hardpoints
under the headliner whether the belts were ordered or not.
there was also some embryonic smog law that cut in on 1/1/68 - lincoln
continentals changed engine mid-year from the lincoln-only 462 to the
shared 460. a shame, as the 462 was made of better materials to much
closer tolerances, and 250000 miles without overhaul is not unknown -
much like the 4.0.
