you don't want just any stick bell, then. best would be a
multipattern bell with the t-96/t-14, t150 toploader, and sr4/t4/t5
patterns on it and the large toploader size retainer hole. second
would be a single-pattern sr4/t4/t5 bell with gm size retainer hole.
i'm assuming that you'll be putting a mustang 5.0 t5 in. this has the
same input and output splines etc as the t150 and i wouldn't be
surprised if it has the same length and mount too. if you need a more
forward shifter loc, an s10 t5 extension case is the trick.
the classic bell for the amc t-10 won't work for your purpose. the
only alternative tranny that ever fit it was the nash/richmond 5sp,
and they no longer make amc input shafts for it.
