dunno about fords but verious versions of the carter were used on
mopar slant sixes and small v8s.  on the v8s they were replaced with a
2300-series holley.  they all fit the manifold and air cleaner but
have choke and linkage differences, not to mention calibration.

several small rochester 2bbl also fit the intake.  i think that
includes the staged 2bbl used on the 2.8 v6.

it's a standard 'small 2bbl' pattern used for decades in detroit.  i
wouldn't be surprised to find ford carbs that fit, though the ones i
know of have the large holley pattern afaik.
