Guys:
To follow up on my torque tube problem, I just got in
from playing around with the torque tube a bit more,
and it appears that the actual issue is that the
propeller shaft seems to have pulled forward a bit off
of the differential. The splines are sliding
correctly all the way into the rear of the
transmission, but I still have this inch gap that I
believe should be eliminated by pushing the propeller
back and seating it properly on the differential.
My tech service manual does not provide a very good
description, at least that I can find.
Thoughts on where to go from here?
