AMX wins real street eliminator in Car Craft, unfortunately it's Chevy
powered. Not that I begrudge the guy, just would have been fun to have
an amc engine in the winning car.

Two more magazine I have not seen mentioned on the list with AMC
articles 
in them . January 06 Muscle Car Enthusiast nice a article on a 1970 Moss

port  green AMX. ALso has a BBBlue 70 AMX photo in the article on the
wood 
ward dream cruise.
More interestingly for you true HP guys January 06 Muscle Car Review has
a 
401 engine build up with help from NAMDRA member JT Payton. The engine
is 
for an AMX owned by a guy who works for Holley. I meet him , but I don't

think the article gives his name. More interesting is also a street
build 
up of a 396 Chevy similar to the street build up of the 401 AMC engine. 
Guess what the 100 engine is pulling 100 more HP then the Chevy !!! I
got 
my copy at Smith to every one not on the left coast AKA Kroger . thanks
