a few years ago, i got to see inside a fairly big engine shop here in
haverhill.  the owner had one of those ex-pt-boat packard engines and
wanted to build a criuser around it much like this one.  i wonder if
it's his?

btw the block for that v12 stood on end nearly as tall as i am.  the
cylinders had individual water jackets that looked like giant
stainless-steel juice cans.
