Subject: list blather
I haven't received mail from the list in days. I went to
amxfiles.com and clicked the list page, saw SIGN UP!, clicked;
entered password. Said I could post now. Still no mail. So I found
another URL with yet another form (the older one) and "signed up"
again. Not sure what is going on.
I don't mean to complain, or bite that hand that freely feeds, but
why is the AMC list using home-made software at this point? Mailman
does an excellent job of all this; the one thing it won't let you
do is post from the web page, but that could be coded with the
usual cgi trickery. Mailman has also 100% eliminated the sign--a-
victim problem, and the un-subscribe-people-you-dont-like problem.
