Amen Brother! Here in Phoenix....we have a little "get together" every Saturday night at a couple of the malls around town. It's open to the public....anyone with a car of interest can come and park in a designated area in the mall parking lot and show off their baby to anyone ... from other car owners to dads bringin' their kids down to see what "real cars" used to look like ... Everyone is welcome. Car owners bring their lawn chairs, a cooler and just sit around and shoot the bull...talkin' about their toys and the tricks of getting 'em to a point they can drive 'em down to show off ... it's actually a pretty nice way to spend a Saturday evening. Anyway....I've got all my '63 classic restoration photos from start to completion in iPhoto; it actually starts with pics of me as a young boy and the car...and ends with the finished car today. So....I created an album of select shots in iPhoto....added music (Gary Newman; Cars) from iTunes ... And headed for the mall. I found a good spot for my classic (next to a couple other AMC boys), set my laptop on the hood of the wagon (towel underneath of course to protect the '63) with the slide show in full screen mode. ITS AWESOME! I got more people standing around the front of the car looking on as it goes through all the shots.....I even had one lady tear up.....it's cool. Bottom line....not only do I have more time to PLAY with my Rambler....but I've got the coolest way in the world to SHOW OFF my Rambler..... Ramblers and Macs Rule!
