I can not remember Car Craft Ever Doing a 401 Build up. I
remeber them back in the late 90's them doing a different
360, and in the same year Hot Rod did a 401 in there
alternative engine series. Hot Rods' goal was 500hp for less
that $5000.00 on pump gas. As I can recall the used Iron '70
heads and a custom Reed Cam with no specs given to the cam.
They made 525hp and put it into a spirit. I do have the
article scanned if anyone would like to read it. I also
believe I still have the last 360 build from car carcraft as
well. I did purchase the newest issue as well.

Also in the november issue of rod and custom is a great Nash
Metro. Please do not quote me on the month though. I can
check my facts when I get home if it is important to amyone.
