505?

There is a "stripper" 63 Rambler Classic in a local
junkyard with a "505" emblem on the rear of the car. 
It looks like a 550 (bottom of the line) Classic to
me, with minimal chrome on the sides and rubber floor
mats.  It does have air conditioning and an auto
tranny though. 

Does anyone know if AMC made a "505" model or has
someone just reversed a couple of digits to make fun
of Peugot?  I have not seen a 505 model mentioned in
any AMC literature.
