details aside all '91-5 injection is substantially identical. if you
swapped the whole '91 and '95 systems you shouldn't see any change.
iirc there is only one difference between the '87 and stock '95 cam,
'91-5 is retarded a few degrees; renix had a knock sensor and egr
which the ho mpi lacks. it also moves the power band up a few hundred
rpm.
dunno if the offset is in the cam or the gears.
advancing and retarding is a favorite hot rodder trick for fine tuning
a cam.
