So how will the 2.5 FIT in a Spirit?

OK, now let's be nice here!  I appreciate all the
information offered.  It was all valid and well
considered.  My plan from the start was to run the 2.5
with 3.54 AMC 20 rear.  (Have LOTS of experience with
FSJ's for the truck/car gearing comparisions!)

My main hope was for info concerning the
ease/difficulty of mounting the 2.5 in my SPirit.  I
know that the 2.5 is based on the Six, so I wondered
if it also has the holes that can be drilled and
tapped (threaded) to use 258 mounts/plates to drop
into the SPirit.  

I can figure something out for the trans.  Thanks for
your help and remember... be NICE in response to the
responses of others!
