Well, it sounds like you're referring to a leak near
the BLOCK...what I'm talking about is near the ELBOW
of the housing, where it bends upwards. There's a
straight line that runs the circumference, could be a
casting line, but I thought it was a two-part housing,
and maybe there was a gasket THERE. If not, then maybe
there IS a crack in it, but the line is so straight,
it looks like a separation of two pieces. Is it all
one piece housing, cast in an almost-90 degree bend
unwards ? If so, then it must be cracked, but the darn
crack is arrow straight around the housing that I can
see!
