I saw a website for the Dodge NASCAR that was painted R/W/B when it first came out. It was also billed as the "Penske paint scheme", and it was mentioned that the last Penske car to wear it was Donnie Allison's Matador coupe back in the mid 70s. I seem to recall mention of a drag car as well. As was said, no one remembers AMC, Penske they recognize. Since AMC is a Chrysler owned trademark now, and the car is Chrysler, they don't care. I'm sure the Penske name garners a lot more attention and publicity than AMC would! Has to be the reason they don't mind Penske taking the credit.
