390 Distributor???

Is the distributor on a '68 390 a standard mid to late '60s Delco unit?  Is it the same unit '60s small block Chevy's used?

Bottom line:  I bought a Pertronix Flame-Thrower Billet distributor for my '57 Chevy, which has a '65 or '66 283.  Will this distributor fit a '68 AMX 390?
