clunk question

Bob, my first guess (!!) would be control arm
bushings, as these seem to be the last thing people
like to change (actually easy). Get under the car and
have some one move the steering wheel back and forth.
Look and feel every joint. You should be able to see,
hear or feel any thing loose. It sounds as if it will
be very noticable.....Russ
