" Went to look at a 1959 Willys overlander last night.
" gave the guy $150.00 for everything.
" origional flat head with 3spd overdrive. 2 wheel drive.
" body appears rust free and solid. Comes with the "v"
" shape front grille and fenders and the flat style grille and fenders.
" Should be a sweet ride either way.
"
" I am hoping the V8 pacer wagon I have can donate the complete front disc,
" rack & pinion steering and V8 cradle assembly to mount under the front end.
" a nice 3.55 amc 20 from a gremlin under the rear and things will be good.
" not sure if their is enough length under the hood for the 4.0 HO.
weren't they offered with the continental 226? that's a fairly large
engine.
that continental family was made in an ohv version as well as
flathead, and several sizes including a 245. i've always thought one
would make an interesting '4.0'...
