401 Rods

The AMC 401 ( 390 too) pin is 1.009 ( some show 1.007 and 1.006). Bigger
then a lot of engines out there.
The small end on the rods are too BIG, if they were too small, yes honing
them out would be the fix ( just like the big end, too small, honed them
out to spec).
