Re: 401 rods

One question: can't a press in pin be used in a bushing of the proper size? I realize the machine shop pressing the pin in would have to be careful to prevent the bushing from slipping. Or at that point is it just cheaper to use a floating pin? Pistons for a floater cost more? Sorry if the questions seem easy, but I've only worked with press in stock type pistons, even in dirt track racers (neighbors had a budget SBC car when I was a kid, where I learned a lot!)
