64-5 fenders

The 64 fenders will not interchange directly onto 65
if you are talking Americans, I know personally. I
tried to fit a set of 64 onto my 65 prior to painting
and found out the mounting holes around the hood line
is off just a smidge on two bolts. I could have
"altered" the hole to work but didn't feel like
molesting a set of primo fenders. Also the rubber hood
bumpers are mounted differently. As stated the trim is
not an issue on the lower 64 model number. The lines
are correct, but be ready for a little "doctoring"...Russ
