Last, the only induction parts I have are the cast manifold, 3.5
TE06 turbos, one piece of bent thinwall tube, some straight, raw
sections, and three exhaust pipes, used. That's it. No plumbing,
so I can't tell anything else.
===== =====
The Cast Manifold has you light years ahead of
the game> believe it!
A Cast Manifold will last where as a Stainless Steel Tube
or Mild Steel Tube Exhaust Manifold will burn out
eventually.
If I had to choose which would be easier to do >
craft up a Turbo Manifold or all the delivery tube,
the delivery tube-ing would win hands down.
I went over your first post of Photos, no doubt it is a
Twin Turbo application.
www.burnsstainless.com is your source for
Stainless Tube and other Turbo Plumbing
related items.
A Table mounted 'chop saw' , which you can set
cut degrees with, equipped with a large Carbide
wheel makes short work out of Stainless crafting.
I would put the engine on a stand & create
a 'hanger tree' that will stand next to the engine,
allowing you to hang the Turbos at the correct distances
while you measure twice / cut once your Tubes
and Air Intakes.
Flanges are available @ Burns stainless . com
I like your Idea of a 'Nostalgia Rail' > those front
engined diggers "Big Daddy Ed Roth" sourced
for many of his Illustrations.
The Tube Chassie > solid front end etc. can be
found on the Internet used > or new for that matter.
Ansen Sprints & WhiteWall Drag Slicks will source
ear to ear grins!
Be Bold & Beautiful !
Brien.
