A: The '80 Cherokee 258 intake I just sold for $20 had that casting number
too. (last of the tin cover motors) After that, they went to 2 piece with an
electric heated intake.

that explains it!
the mitchell interchange lists p/n 8126521 for '76-9 -except- '78,
which uses 8129208.
