A: That would be biphase.com (now a subsidiary of the ice cream guys) and
they came up with the idea to stop vapor lock by using a charge of AC
through a surrounding manifold around the injectors when hot starting.

jim blair located a company a few years ago, that was developing
liquid-lpg injectors. iirc they were working under some kind of
grant
or funding and targeting the ford 460; they didn't have any smaller
injectors that we might use on a 4.0. also iirc their biggest
problem
was icing on the injectors from the fuel vaporizing. surprisingly i
don't recall anything about vapor lock, but if they retained a fuel
pump and pressure regulator return line, vapor would be purged almost
as easily as with gasoline.
ps. got a url for sleeger? do they have anything for the xj? or
don't they sell retail?
