Ya'll, Little Car Updates: Not much to update on Little Car since the show. The only real action has been some clean-up on that spare I got in Sacramento (the rubber is now clean, though I did preserve some of the original "new tire" markings). I also switched out an armrest with one I picked up at the show, and replaced a couple small rubber and platic parts. Not exactly noteworthy. For those of you who did not get the Hemmings article that included Little Car, a friend has put it on his website. It can be read at http://public.fotki.com/jerijan/antique_cars/driveable_dreams/gwens_driveab le_dreams/ Some Requests: Should anyone happen to have a couple very small bits sitting around in their junk, er, spare parts drawers, well, I'm looking for two very minor bits. 1. the metal clip that holds the parking brake light wire to the body: I snapped one in half a short while back. 2. the rubber foot pad that belongs on the windshield washer pump. Both very minor, but annoting nonetheless. New Web Content: In addition to the AMCRC Nationals pix, I've put up a couple new pieces on the website for my car. One details outside, third-party vendors who provided parts for Ramblers in '64, and is based on materials I partially researched here, the other is taken from a 1964 Parts and Technical Guide, and is on the paint codes and proper car for the interior of '64 Ramblers. http://www.gwensmith.com/interests/rambler/amcrc05a.html http://www.gwensmith.com/interests/rambler/parts.html http://www.gwensmith.com/interests/rambler/dashpaint.html Feedback (corrections, additions) desired.
