Seriously, a couple listers may be able to come over and give you a hand one day -- never hurts to ask! Your weather sounds a lot like it is here, but you're probably more than a couple hours away. > > On July 5, 2005 Mr. AMC wrote: > > > I hope everybody had a nice 4'th. I hid in the A/C all weekend and watched all the different auto races and rested from the previous weeks horrible heat that knocked the !@#$%^ out of me. I had a live fire works display right outside my living room window last night for about 3 hours. Unfortunatly the heat and humidity will return today and last the rest of the week along with showers, thunder storms and plain rain. A lot of personal business has come up so along with this week being one day short because of the holiday I will fall farther behind on my interior project. I hope to remove the bucket seats and the old carpet and possibly paint the floor. I have the Dynamat for the floor and maybe I can get that in also. The heat and dampness kills my arthritis and agravates my breathing problems. After 7 months on this project with the car being laid up for 4 1/2 months I am running out of energy and ambition. > > "Doc" > > > > > > > > > > ============================================================= > > Posted by wixList Archiver -- http://www.amxfiles.com/wixlist > > > ============================================================= > Posted by wixList Archiver -- http://www.amxfiles.com/wixlist Thanks Frank for the offer of trying to get a list thing going to help me with my car's interior but the car is in a very active auto repair shop in the corner. The new owner who just bought the business and me have become friends since last summer. He is doing the lifting and work I cannot do any more and picking my brain for 40 years experience working on all the old muscle cars. He barely charges me for labor and never asked for storage and allows me to work on the car there for free. Since I came into some money last year I pop him a 100$ a month and call it storage since mid feb. when the interior job started. I am almost like a consultant. As old as I am and with all my many physical problem's I have I still do most of my own work or look over the shoulder of who is doing it. My VA doctor say's it is good theropy for me. Thanks for the SMS upholstery material info I just ordered the materal today for the front bucket's, after checking with my upholstery guy. Now if you! could just find a cure for stupid lawyers and rude nursing home business office people I am trying to work with in good faith I would be happy. I won't go there. GOD will get them SOB's. No actual work on th car today but the seat insert material ordered, tomorrow the rest of the interior comes apart.
