After reading some of this banter, I ask the question, when hasn't it
benefit the market to have more than one source of a product? This
is
part of the supply and demand of the market, not to mention keeping
prices in somewhat of a check. I feel we should be thankful that
there are people out there willing to produce parts and do some r&d
for improvements.

After I found my '50 Hudson
Commodore in a Snow Drift
@ a Sunoco Station , I was crazy
thrilled finding Jack Clifford,
a former Hudson Racer, had produced
a slew of 'Ultimate' Performance parts
for the Marque - right down to the
under hood Decals & Jacket Patches.

Got to talk with him on the phone
shortly befor his passing.

The Commodore is a memory, but
my Blue Jean Jacket with the Hudson
Patches stitched still hangs in
the closet.

I've a *Mint* Clifford era Catalog
that outlines the various 'Stages'
the Hudson engines could be
built out to - along with the
featured
308 7X Aluminum Head
Jack made back then.

It is especially important for
'in the know' enthusiast with
capacity
to create those 'Ultimate' parts
that allow a 'Dream' build to be complete.

Yeah, I understand Cool Hands philosophy
on cash & investors - marginal profit &
a somewhat stilted approach to
efforts, no offence Cool, but as with any Art,
it isn't about the cash that brings
Specialties to life.

Nick crafts for the 'Ultimate' AMC
engine build- provides solutions
needed to create a
stable Performance AMC Engine -
just as Jack provided the Hudson fans
back when Gasoline was 29.9
at the Broadway AMACO Station.
