No tool rental that I know of. You could make up a small junkyard tool kit to take with you, adjustable wrench, multi-bit screwdriver, knife, etc. Just tell you wife it's your shaving kit. I once removed a 401 engine from a Jeep with a 9/16 socket, ratchet, adjustable wrench. But the transmission had already been removed before I got to the truck so I didn't have to mess with bellhousing bolts.
