Re: A Day in the Yard

Mark,

I had a quarter panel shipped from AJ Jacobs (South Texas AMC -- http://southtexasamc.tripod.com) ) a couple of years ago and the shipping and crating was about $200 (it was sent motor freight). Speaking of AJ, you may want to give him a try for a good fender. I've been very happy with the parts I gotten from him so far.

Joe,
If your Junkyarding and between jobs. Keep an eye out for a nice drivers Fender for my 69 American. Ineedone with no side molding and as nice and straight as possible.
I've searched high and low around here and always come up short.
At this point I'm open to most any option to get a nice rustfree fender. However, I still don't want to go broke getting one. This is for a later redo on my American. I'm gathering rustfree parts to replace ones that have been patched and repaired.
I figure shipping on a fender might be a bit high. But not so high as to stop me from buying one. Anyone know what it would cost?
