Concord Turn Signals

Any clue here.  80 Concord Wagon, working great.  Couple weeks ago blinker 
started getting noisy or at least I started to notice it clicking when 
turning.  Then noticed after a couple days that the turn signals were not 
working.
I replaced the flasher and still no turn signals.  I checked bulbs and they 
were good, even replace the backs with good bulbs, still nothing.  Emergency 
flashers working.  Turn signal switch is tight as new as is everything else 
on the car.
Any suggestions?  Having to learn hand signals all over again.
