Re: 63 Classic strut rod bushings

Got my car back from the local alignment shop, and I'm not real happy! They say they maxed out caster, but it's just over 2* on one side and nearly 4* on the other. I'm debating on whether to go back and have a talk with the "technician" and get them to change it or not. I don't know if he ignored the adjustable strut rods or the eccentric bolts on the upper arms. Since he says it was "maxed out" I'm leaning toward the strut rods. Maybe he looked alignment info up or knew something about older cars and simply didn't notice the srut rods? I would have thought they'd have at least set the caster the same on both sides! Might just find another shop that deals more with older cars and hot rods. Should have asked the local rod shop before taking it anywhere!
