Pre-EBAY 401 for sale in the Ozarks

OK, some of you have busted on me for listing my 401
sales on EBAY first in the past, so I am giving you
and the FSJ List first crack.  

If you want to complain about the prices, please don't
bother.  I know from selling MANY 401's and AMC V8
accessories that I will get this for these items.  If
you think it's too much, just don't buy it! !!)

First, I don't know anything about this engine other
than the following:  pulled from a 77 J20 Plow
truck... looked rode hard and put to bed WET!  (horse
lingo)  Found it with the hood open, no aircleaner and
doubtless it had been rained in, however, it  turned
over freely and without noise (I popped out plugs and
sprayed some lube in to keep the rust out)  The engine
is complete except for the rocker assemblies and
pushrods on one cylinder (I believe 5).

I am not going to break this engine down for a report
as I have sold several locked up examples for this
price.  The ex manifold on the p side is totally
cracked, but I do not want to remove them due to rusty
bolts.  For a fee I will do it if required for
shipping. 

I can ship it if you pay extra for handling,
palletizing, driving to and from shipping dock (I live
30 miles from the closest one) and unloading.  I am
reasonable but not cheap!  If you live near KC, Tulsa,
St Louis, Little Rock or West PLains/Poplar Bluff and
can meet me somewhere and pay gas to and fro, I can
deliver if you can work with my schedule.  I live near
SPfld, MO and travel a lot in the above areas.
