Yard Report

I spent a couple of hours this afternoon in the
PickNPull yard at Moss Landing, CA.
There are two AMCs.
1964 Classic no engine or tranny, but does have
electric wipers, although they may have been
owner-installed. 4 door, some good sheet metal. Good
front bumper and decent grill.
1980 AMC Spirit. Some good interior plastic. It has
the Iron Duke with CA emissions so it has the
electronic Varijet (E2SE) carburetor like mine. These
setups in an AMC are very scarce today. (Ask me how I
know). It has the SR-4 (presumably) standard
transmission. Open rear end. Did I say some good
interior plastic? I may be going back tomorrow to get
the doors for my Hornet AMX if it does not sell on
Ebay. The Spirit also has the small disc brakes which
came on the 4-cylinder cars.
I will pull parts for a nonimal fee depending on the
degree of difficulty. (Nothing above an 8.0 by the
way).

Joe Fulton
