A: Easy to figure it out. Set your Ebrake, and look to see which center nut
is spinning! The good part is an XJ axle will bolt in and depending what
ratio you have, they can be easy or hard to find. (I have a 3.08 front axle
and people are throwing away D35s with that ratio from '84 to '87 XJs all
the time)

On my way to work this morning I was taking off from a stop sign and heard a
thud and then a loud screach from the rear and now when I try to move it is
like my back wheels are sitting on ice....It screaches and it takes a bit
for the wheels to start turning to get going. I remember a conversation a
while back about spinning hubs on Eagles. Could that be what this is? Any
suggestions of what else it could be? Can someone direct me to more info on
the hub issue? I can't find the previous discussion. Thanks.
