Just got back from taking a couple of legs on the power tour. It was amazing
to say the least. A traveling car show that never stopped in between cities.
When we left Milwaukee there were ten AMX's and two Javelins in our group, at
least one other '68-'70 Javelin, four more AMX's, and at least one humpster
AMX that I saw in the line of cars. Jock, sorry I missed you, my wife said
she overheard someone say they were looking for someone with a Javelin on the
list but it didn't register that it was us. We'll be in Cordova though. It
was really wild seeing people standing on overpasses, and police in the
median all waving and giving thumbs up. There was no chevy, amc, ford or
mopar as everybody gave thumbs up and commented on the quality of each others
cars. Anyone that has a leg passing within driving distance should at least
go watch or join in for a few miles. I know I'll be going on another one.
