AMC15/ Dana 30

I Have been toying wiht the idea of swapping out the rear axle in my American.
One axle tube is slightly twisted/turned in it and I have another good 3:31 axle.
The reason I haven't doen so is the spare does not have twingrip and the one in the car now does and it still seems to work. So, I just don't want to tear apart the car to swap out the twingrip.
I see on Summitt that there is a detroit E-Z locker for the Dana 30.
  I wonder will it fit in a 1969 AMC 15 open carrier?
The price is good at $259. I wonder?
