OT: Electric cooling Fan update

Slightly off topic, but I thought some might have interest.
I installed an electric cooling fan on My S-10 in February or so this year.
I experienced a 1+ MPG gain from it. However yesterday while towing my Pontoon boat through the mountains it would not quite keep up with the load and I had to stop on one long hilly stretch to cool things down for a bit.
When I got to the lake evrything seemed fine, I left the truck run while off loading the boat into the water and when I went to pull out I noticed the gauge had almost pegged!
I quickly pulled the trailer out of the water and pulled off to the side and checked thigns out.
Well the $80 "made in the USA" S blade 2700 CFM fan is dead! seems 2 hours of constant running at load was too much for it! So, if you see any of these at the Carlisle or other shows I would not recomend them at this point! Somewhere at home I have a card from the seller who said they gave a 1 year warranty, So, if I can find the card I will be contacting them to see if they will actually replace the fan and then carry a spare stock fan till I see if I can trust the replacement to hold up.
I may just upgrade to the dual fan setup I originally planned on, but decided not to go with when I originally speced this out. Now that I know I can actually see a gain from the elctric fans! As far as I can tell, no damage was done to the truck. I will be changing the oil and transmission fluid before driving it again though.
