I have not seen a difference in the brackets, What I have seen is that the 
Booster for the drum has a bolt pattern about 1/4 in closer together for the 
master cylinder, the bolt pattern on the disk master cylinder is a little 
farther apart so that you can't put the wrong master cylinder on it.

What's different about the brackets? I know the drum brakes used a single 
diaphragm booster and the discs a dual. The only thing I can think of that 
my be different is the bolt pattern on the back of the booster, or the disc 
booster is mounted a little higher for clearance because of the larger 
diameter.
