Brake Calipers Sticking

Thanks everyone for your input about the brakes. The caliper slides have been cleaned and lubed, and the pad wear on the old calipers was even on both sides. I am curious about this residual valve in the master cylinder. Where is it located? What does it look like? And how do I remove it?
