Brake calipers sticking

I've been reading the posts on the Matador brake caliper problem, and I have a similar one. My '67 Rogue was an original 4 piston disc brake car, and several years ago I replaced that setup with the big 3" single piston jobs from a '75 Matador. Ever since then, the front calipers seem to hang up. I just installed new calipers and pads, the brake hoses are good, and the master cylinder was done and resleeved a few years ago. It's the original 4 piston master cylinder. Anyone have any ideas?
