Odd small bellhousing pattern, BW crank snout, if it were newer I'd keep
if and make a fuelie stroker out of the 4.0 but it's not.

Yes and no. The eagle engine blocks have threaded embosses that the
front axle gets bolted to. The older 258's do not. You'd have to fab
up the mounts to hang the axle.
Also, I think that era 258 had the OLD bell hsg pattern ... can anyone
confirm?
