A: My '88 Comanche (6" lifted daily driver with US built AMC 6) sports a US 
flag for a headliner (I got it that way) which led to it being named Sarge, 
but the irony of the French EFI and transmission that keeps running isn't

when 9/11 happened a local fellow got his car in the papers with a
very patriotic red/white/blue stars-'n-bars paint job.

the car was a new beetle.  nobody mentioned the irony.
