A: Along the same lines, if you have a condenser attached to the coil for
radio noise suppression (even came stock on electronic ignition) they can
sometimes short inside and cause all sorts of poor/non-start issues!

I think the other guys who suspected ignition problems are on the
right track. I bought a Pacer a while back that would run fine for
10 minutes or so, then lose power and die. Let it cool down and it
would fire right up. The problem turned out to be the ignition coil
itself. I guess it had a short that only made contact when
everything was good and warm. $12.95 at the local auto parts store
and I was on the road again.
