They didn't all come with air bags (in Canada anyway), we've got a '90
that's 'bagless'

And i'd agree on the build quality, best little car we've ever owned.
Regular maintenance and that's about it. The car hasn't lead a sheltered
life, my wife drove it year round in our climate up until just recently.
Impressive little car (and i do mean little, don't think 6 footers would
be all that comfortable!), fun to drive and thrifty. and teens,
especially girls, still think it's cool.
